ME
Ciao, my name is Leandro Fiorin and currently I am working on the DOME project as post doctoral researcher in IBM Research, at the ASTRON & IBM Center for Exascale Technology located in Dwingeloo, the Netherlands. Previously I was a research associate at ALaRI, the Advanced Learning and Research Institute, part of the Faculty of Informatics of the Universita' della Svizzera italiana (University of Lugano) in Lugano, Switzerland.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Informatics at the Universita' della Svizzera italiana with a dissertation on "High-level Services for Networks-on-Chip", under the guidance of Prof. Mariagiovanna Sami and Prof. Cristina Silvano from Politecnico of Milano, Milano, Italy.
I received a Master of Engineering in Embedded System Design from ALaRI and I hold an M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering, from University of Cagliari (Italy).
I am an IEEE Member since 2007, and I am a founding member of the IEEE Student Branch of Lugano.
I am also part of HiPEAC, the European Network of Excellence on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation.
